“My Scottsdale primary care doctor originally sent me to AZ Balance and Hearing Aids (ABHA) for severe balance issues one year ago because the office has a fantastic reputation. He was right on. I took the hearing tests only because I had never had my hearing tested. I knew I had tinnitus, and they detected some hearing deficits, but I focused on having their physical therapist correct my balance. The balance therapy helped so much that I decided to follow their recommendation to have annual hearing checks. My hearing worsened over the year since, and I am now the absolutely delighted owner of hearing aids that I never wanted, nor even had a clue I needed. The improvement in my hearing is so wonderful that I feel like one of those astonished kids who has received eyesight for the first time in their life! I had no idea how much my hearing had deteriorated. I have had my first two follow ups to fine tune them and to get my questions answered about using my iPhone to constantly change their settings for the environment I am in. JUST TODAY I got home from the grocery store 6 miles away and realized my right hearing aid was missing. I used "Find my hearing aid" on the manufacturer’s iPhone app and it showed me that it’s location was last detected in the market parking lot. I remember trying to carefully take my facemask straps off my ears in the parking lot at my car. My iPhone led me right to the parking spot I had been in 20 minutes earlier, and there on the pavement was my right-side hearing aid. GREAT system! Most important is that the ABHA staff are top notch, from handling the balance and hearing technical skills, the device options and instruction, as well as the financing options. I enjoyed every step of the process of dealing with each of the staff over these past 13 months. They are a very competent and professional team!”

“I went to my doctor for a routine annual checkup. She clapped her hands behind my head and asked me if I heard anything. I didn't. That was a wake-up clap. I always thought that nobody can hear anyone on the telephone or in restaurants, and that everyone mumbled. On my doctor's recommendation, I scheduled a hearing test at ABHA, and it was a real eye-opener. The results showed that my hearing was excellent some frequencies, but fell off the chart at others. I never knew that I was missing a huge chunk of the audio spectrum. ABHA was able to immediately fit me with hearing aids, and I could hear sounds I'd never heard before. Cost was a big concern for me, but the staff contacted my insurance carrier, and within the hour I was good-to-go with just the standard 10% co-pay. The difference in my hearing was not dramatic volume-wise -- that wasn't the problem. “After a brain MRI offered no explanation for my worsening near-constant imbalance and dizziness episodes, I was referred to Arizona Balance and Hearing Aids (ABHA) by my outstanding primary care physician in Scottsdale. My first ABHA appointment entailed thorough testing, after which I was referred to in-house Doctor of Physical Therapy Camille Lambert. Many of my balance and stability issues began to disappear after just two weeks of exercises, and almost all of my issues non-existent within 5 weeks!
