My younger sister had meningitis as an infant.  The illness left her with profound hearing loss in one ear and a moderately severe loss in the other.  She grew up wearing amplification in the ear that had some remaining hearing.  I always had an interest in finding ways to improve her social experiences through amplification and communication strategies.  Thus, I pursued a career in audiology.  

I have been practicing since 2002.  I perform diagnostic hearing evaluations and fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.  I work with an otolaryngologist on site.  He is available to discuss treatment options when there is a medical cause for hearing loss.
