Ryan has been around hearing aids almost his entire life. His father, Kent Broy, became a hearing aid specialist when Ryan was 4 years old. In 1992 Kent started his own hearing aid business in Brevard County Florida. Through the years Kent grew his business to 13 stores in 6 counties on the east coast of Florida. Kent had his 2 younger brothers Greg and Jeff move down from Illinois to help, and also Ryan's older brother Chad became a specialist to help serve the hearing impaired. Ryan started working in one of the offices at the age of 16, helping out where he could with cleaning hearing aids and selling batteries.
Kent passed away at the early age of 50 from a brain aneurysm. Ryans mother Cheryl, sold the business in 2011. Ryan worked for the new owner for a little while and wanted to get away from the east coast of Florida so he and his family moved to Southern Mississippi. He earned his hearing aid specialist license and managed 3 offices in Mississippi and Alabama.
Cheryl Broy (Ryans mother) had moved to Venice, FL. a little while after selling the business. When Ryan and his family came to visit her they just fell in love with the area and realized how much they missed the Florida life. In 2015 Ryan and his wife Christine opened Hear Quest Hearing in beautiful Venice and are proud to serve this community and hope to expand to other cities soon. Ryan says hearing aids are his life's passion and loves to give people a better life through better hearing.

“I knew i needed hearing aids based on a previous hearing test. Ryan provided a confirming test. Programmed the hearing aids. Took me outside of the building allowing me to use the aids in the outside environment, construction noise, wind, traffic, etc. He gave me a full explanation of the quality of the widex hearing aides, comparing to other types. Bottom line is I am very happy with my hearing, the quality of sound is great, they eliminate additional crowd noise, etc. They were very well priced compared to others. I highly recommend visiting Ryan.”
