Dr. Amy is a licensed audiologist who earned a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in audiology from West Virginia University. She is knowledgeable in the latest technology and provides testing and evaluations utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Johnston specializes in difficult-to-fit hearing loss and tinnitus management.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys her family and traveling.

“This is a professionally run office..everyone is respectful and kind to all levels of clients. I personally found Dr. Johnston to be outstanding. I went to her after I had been to another audiologist in the Rockville area, and I felt my hearing aid was not functioning properly. I walked in very distraught and asked her to check my hearing aids.She informed me the speaker was very degraded on the right..which I was trying to tell my former audiologist..I purchased new hearing aids on the spot that were blue tooth compatible. I needed a lot of tutoring to get these aids and me to be friends as I am not technically inclined. I really appreciated the patience and kindness shown me and stayed with Amy till last week when I required a cochlear implant..thank you all for all your kindness.”
