Joel Shultis grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2007 to attend University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geophysics. Wanting to follow his true passion of working in audio, Joel attended the Hearing Aid Academy in 2020 and was licensed a year later.
Along with science, music and audio have been Joel’s passion since a very early age. He has been a musician since 4th grade and discovered his passion for audio engineering not long after. Joel continues to play, write, and record music in his free time, and is continually trying to learn and grow. Getting to combine his love for audio and science in a way that helps people has been incredibly fulfilling!
