“Karen at Clarity and Comfort is my husband's hearing specialist. Ed has been going to see her for appointments for the past 4 years. We consider her to be an expert in the field of hearing loss, and very well educated on the latest hearing device technology. She is extremely well qualified and has a wonderful, kind manner with her clients. She exercised extreme patience with the many times we came to her office for hearing aid adjustments after his purchase of a Starkey Hearing instrument from Clarity and Comfort. Karen was always available to meet with us and to customize Ed's hearing aids to meet the needs of his work and home settings. She understands the intricacies of how each hearing aid works and was able to fine tune Ed's hearing aid as his hearing loss increased over the 4 years Ed has been going to Clarity and Comfort, and she adjusted his hearing aids frequently so that he could get maximum use out of his hearing aid's capabilities. Overall, I would give Karen a rating of a 10+ for professionalism, expertise in her field and on being very personable and accommodating to individual needs. If we had not found Karen and chosen her as Ed's hearing specialist, I don't think he would have been able to continue to work and interact with other colleges and clients into his 80's since Karen's knowledge and experience in selecting the right hearing instrument enabled Ed to continue as an attorney( his life time profession) into advanced age. If you are looking for a hearing specialist, I would recommend choosing Karen Shaffer at Clarity and Comfort Hearing Center.
