“With the plethera of excuses offered by management, I doubt it will make much difference. However, our experience with this clinic has been dismal. After a lengthy process to get Medicaid to pay for hearing aids for my son, it was approved. Then, when we showed up, all the audiologist wants to talk about is finding out how much insurance will pay. I said no, they will pay for all of it. I called the Medicaid PASS, Arkansas Total Care, and the lady there asked to speak to him, and he REFUSED to do so. He got an attitude, and believe me, mine matched his. He just turned off, refused to communicate and seemed insulted that a patient had arrived to get hearing aids. After a VERY lengthy wait, we spoke to a representative from the clinic, who apologized for the trouble, verified that the insurance would indeed pay for them, and they were finally ordered. That was 3 weeks ago. When I called back today to try and get a timeline for their delivery, they don't know. The receptionist has the unique ability to turn the conversation around, and said when was our fitting appointment. I DON'T HAVE A FITTING APPOINTMENT. I asked a simple straightforward question and don't get answers. I will never do business with them again. I don't care if you are a university, if your providers teach, study, or play the piano, if you are going to see patients, you should be providing the best service to them you can. We ended up feeling like second class citizens being put through the ringer for nothing. ”
