“I heard about MWEI from Dr. Joseph Urseck and I first got introduced to Kristen and had a hearing test I was told I needed cochlear implants from losing my hearing from bacteria meningitis in 2017 and its been 3 yrs since I had my implants. I'm very happy with MWEI. I give awesome credit to everybody there. You're all awesome in my book. ”

“My son received his first Cochlear Implant at 18 months old and his second around 28 months old. He is 12 years old now and we have been going to MEI this entire time for check-ups, tune-ups, etc. We researched closer options since this is a 3 hour drive for us, but everyone here is amazing and made our choice very simple. The commute is worth it for the quality of service and the love and care that each employee here provides. I typically don't leave reviews, but I read the one about an individual having a poor experience and wouldn't refer anyone here so I was inclined to leave my review which is just the opposite. I wouldn't refer anyone to go any place but the Midwest Ear Institute if you have a child with hearing loss. We have experienced over a decade of excellent service and care and even though it is 6 hours in the car to and from MEI for a one hour appointment, I wouldn't take my son anywhere else!”

“I set up an appointment three months in advance for my little one to see a pediatric audiologist at the Midwest Ear Institute following an instate move. On the day of the appointment, about three or four hours before, I got a call from the office staff informing me that they did not have all my child's medical information and they were asking me what I wanted to do as she could not be seen without all her information. The audiologist then called as well with the same information. She was unapologetic and uncouth in her interactions with me telling me that I should blame her if am looking for someone to blame. I tried to explain to her that this was not about blaming anyone, she and her staff failed to do their due diligence in communicating with me well ahead of time so that I could assist in requesting for all my child's information and now my child was not going to be able to keep up her appointment as scheduled. I tried to explain that calling clients on the day of the appointment was too late. Needless to say, the audiologist did not seem to care. She was argumentative. She also impressed upon me as someone who works "last minute" and the lack of taking any responsibility and unprofessionalism made it clear that this is not someone I could work with or would want working with my child. Would not refer anyone here.”
