Valerie A. Ketchum earned her Doctor of Audiology from Central Michigan University and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. She is also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Member and the Michigan chapter of the American Academy of Audiology. Her main goal is to help all of her patients obtain a better quality of life through better hearing.

“My experience with both physicians and office clerical team has been exceptional. ”
“Horrible!! The Brighton location is a very poorly run office. After waiting 6 weeks for a first available appointment, my child was turned away. The office then refused to provide care due to a clerical error. Office staff were rude, unprofessional and disorganized. First available appointments are not timely, there was no coordination with primary care and no contact to schedule post surgical follow up. Grade = F. If you want/expect decent medical care, go someplace else.”
Received 07/24/2018Official Response from M.O.S.A. Audiology - Brighton:“We were recently made aware of your comment. We have checked into this and we have found that this reviewer was not seen by an Audiologist or other representative of M.O.S.A. Audiology. We checked further and found that the problem occurred when records indicated that the child had insurance through HAP. On arrival, it was found that the child was covered through a different insurer, BCN, which required a referral from the primary care physician. Because the child had reportedly not seen the primary care doctor in more than a year, the doctor would not give a referral. Therefore, the child could not be seen since there was no insurance coverage in place. We are sorry for your experience, but we believe you have confused M.O.S.A. Audiology with a different office. ”
