“An update, I have had my hearing aid for over 2 months now and I am incredibly happy with it and HAC. It has made a great difference in my daily life. I continue to be impressed with the Hearing Assessment Center and Dr. Cernik, as I went back to have maintenance explained. They take the time to get it right the first time and to listen to you. The entire staff is caring and extremely knowledgeable. My father ( dead, now) had gotten his hearing aids at a discount hearing store inside Sears. He was never happy with them since they didn't fit or work well. He, consequently, never wore them. I wish he had gone to the HAC.”

“While the office staff was very nice and professional, I never saw an audiologist. Rory Cernik signed my hearing test; however, he never even stuck his head in and said hello (all my time and the testing was spent with his "assistant"). I found that their prices were high and, after recovering from the sticker shock, did some research and was able to purchase my hearing aid elsewhere and have it programmed and fitted for a third of what they were asking for programming and fitting. The other interesting thing was that their proposal included a separate charge for a charger and I found the hearing aid comes with a charger. ”

“Thank you for your feedback, Josephine. We are sorry to hear that your hearing aid has broken. While the device is currently under a repair warranty, the manufacturer will not simply issue a brand new hearing aid as you requested. They require that we send in the broken aid so they can assess the damage and make repairs to the existing aid. Reviews like this allow our practice to see where we may be able to improve in the future and better our patient experience. We appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns. Please give us a call back at your earliest convenience so we can find a time to send in your damaged aid and issue you a loaner device in the interim. ”

“Had just returned from a southern vacation and needed my hearing aids checked as they were working erratically. A summer intern listened to my problem and explained what could be done in the office and took the devices and did as promised. The devices work like new and I am grateful for the service.
