Lisa Goerner AuD is a clinical audiologist with 35 years of experience in hearing care including the last 15 years practicing at the Indiana University Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic in Bloomington.  Lisa has a strong history of commitment to patient care. Dr. Goerner is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.  She takes the time to fully understand her patient needs and together creates a recommendation for a solution that delivers.

Dr. Goerner has shaped the path of hearing care for countless patients and positively impacted the nearly 150 Doctor of Audiology students that she has taught and mentored over her tenure at Indiana University.  In addition to her clinical work and teaching, she volunteers her time to provide hearing services at the Indiana Special Olympics and the Redbird Mission in Eastern Kentucky.

When Lisa isn’t thinking about hearing, she is following her beloved Hoosiers in any sporting endeavor.  As a lifelong Hoosier, she followed in her father’s footsteps and has been a longtime basketball and football season ticket holder.  In the fall, she can be found tailgating outside of Memorial Stadium and has logged countless miles cheering on Hoosiers Basketball at various NCAA events and, of course, the Maui Classic.  Lisa will no doubt be front and center next season when Coach Tom Allen takes the Hoosiers to the Rose Bowl.
