Clinic details

Michael quickly fell in love with the profession and received his license in 2010. Since joining the hearing aid field, he has been a strong advocate of the hearing impaired by joining hearing groups such as the International Hearing Society (I.H.S.) and Hearing Healthcare Alliance of Ohio (H.H.A.O.); even taking it a step further by becoming a Trustee of H.H.A.O. and a board member of the State of Ohio Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board. In January of 2018 the Speech Language and Audiology Board and The hearing Aid Specialist board were consolidated where he applied to be on the new Board. The then Governor appointed Mike to the new consolidated Speech and Hearing Professionals Board. Personally, Mike has been married for 10+ years to Maria (Bergman) and has three beautiful children (Lucille, Irah, and Anthony) and as of December 2018 a puppy named Luke. He enjoys spending time with them, bowling, golfing, Pickleball, and camping (really anything outdoors).

Hearing care services

Hearing Screening

In-office hearing test in our awesome hearing booth is the best way to fully identify your specific type and levels of hearing loss. The accurate results will enable our expert providers to determine whether hearing aids can help you and what models are best suited to your needs. Plus, when you come in you can meet our stellar staff. If you’re unable to come into the office or prefer not to, you can get your hearing screened remotely or using our at-home hearing evaluation. While we’d miss meeting you in-person, this is a first step and can determine whether an in-office evaluation is needed. In many cases, in-person hearing tests are the only accurate way to fit hearing aids. Call us and we’ll walk you through how to use our hearing evaluation.

Consultations

Are your hearing aids acting up? Or have they stopped working altogether? Many modern hearing aids allow for remote programming and troubleshooting. Call us to let us know what type of problems you are having and we can schedule an appointment or advise you on next steps.

Remote Hearing Aid Adjustments

Hearing aid fittings are crucial to ensure your hearing aids are working well. During an in-office visit we will check the overall fit, sound output, and programming of your hearing aid. If we’re unable to schedule an in-person visit, we offer remote programming and hearing aid adjustments. To make fitting your hearing aid even more convenient and faster, we offer a drive-up option, where we fit the hearing aid on you in your car.

Hearing Aid Repair Services

Broken hearing aid? Need a repair? We make it easy. Simply call or text us and tell us what’s going on with your hearing aids. If we can’t solve the issue over the phone, we’ll schedule a repair service or provide you with instructions on how to use our drop-box or mail repair services. Call us for details.
