Mitch Rockwell began his career in the medical field in 1998 after becoming disillusioned with his previous role as an executive chef in Gainesville, FL. He transitioned into the medical profession as a lab technician in the optical industry, quickly discovering his passion for healthcare. In 2002, Mitch took on the role of practice manager at an office in Stuart, FL, where he became a licensed Board Certified Optician. While in this position, he furthered his education by attending Indian River State College from 2010 to 2014, focusing on microbiology.
In 2016, Mitch was offered a new opportunity to manage a different practice, where he was tasked with establishing a hearing aid center. During this time, he trained and earned his license as a Hearing Aid Specialist (HAS).
Throughout his career, Mitch has been dedicated to patient care, always engaging with the public and providing support whenever possible. He has contributed to the field through involvement in various studies and by authoring and teaching continuing education courses for fellow professionals. Renowned for his thoughtfulness, helpfulness, reliability, and expertise, he is highly respected by both patients and colleagues.
Outside of his professional life, Mitch enjoys traveling the world with his wife and is a passionate cigar collector.
